La Chemise Française maintains long-lasting relationships with its European weavers, selected for their technical expertise and consistent standards.
Long-staple cottons such as American Supima, Egyptian Giza, or Sea Island are chosen for their feel, drape, and sheen; French linens from Normandy are selected for their quality and robustness: each material is chosen to last.

Recognized Expertise
Since 2019, Les Ateliers Gauthier, the parent company of La Chemise Française, has been recognized with the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, awarded by the French State to companies possessing excellent artisanal and industrial know-how.
This distinction is based on three criteria:
- Possession of specific economic heritage resulting from the practice of rare know-how;
- Mastery of traditional high-tech techniques;
- Long-term attachment to a region.
